Unexplored Udupi

Explore ancient Jain temples, kayak through backwaters and walk along beaches only locals know.

Most people know Udupi for one or two things: the Udupi Krishna Temple and its famous neer dosas. But when we at Unexplored India think of Udupi, we think of beaches no one speaks about, dense mangroves, temples tucked inside forests, and homestays where food tastes like family.

What You Will Experience

Walk barefoot on empty beaches where the waves speak louder than people.

Experience Udupi food the way locals cook it.

Kayak through calm inland waters where time itself seems slower.

Step into the ancient Jain temples of Moodbidri — places built with stunning architecture, rooted in silence and forest air.

Watch the sunset, not as a scene to capture, but as a moment to be inside.
